Just seems strange to me that iv been imaging surfaces since the 4 came out and just this past 3 weeks iv had the issue. Now we got in another surface and the issue is back. After resetting up one of the two devices i decided to make a new image thinking it was a compatibility issue and the new image should resolve it. I know this has to do with my image in some way. If i use the USB recovery and wipe out the device and do a factory install it works. I also cant really find anything on the web that matches my issue. After spending 4 hours on the phone i gave up. Needless to say after bouncing between general support, surface pro support, and a third tier of support i was then referenced to contact general support. Uninstalled and reinstalled UEFI via device manager for kicks. Look in device manager and it is not listed (this i would think is good) Uninstalling the tpm driver via device manager. Everything works perfect, but when activating bitlocker the system seems to think the TPM chip is missing.
I have had a recent line of surface pro 4s that seem to not like the system image.
